It’s not often that office holiday party attendees describe the night as “magical” and “life-changing,” but that’s exactly how one lucky staff feels about their recent celebration.

St. John Properties, a real-estate company based in Maryland, worked hard all year to achieve its lofty goal of developing 20 million square feet of office, retail, and warehouse space across eight states.

After lots of hard work and tireless dedication, the staff hit its big milestone. Now, it was finally time to celebrate.

During the company’s annual holiday party, all 198 employees were each handed a sealed red envelope containing the amount of their specific bonus — which they received in addition to the company’s annual year-end bonus.

Then founder and chairman Edward St. John walked up to the podium to make a very special announcement before instructing the team to open their envelopes.

“To celebrate the achievement of our goal, we wanted to reward our employees in a big way that would make a significant impact on their lives,” he said. “I am thankful for every one of our employees, for their hard work and dedication. I couldn’t think of a better way to show it.”

Let’s just say you do not want to miss the look on their faces …
