Hoda Kotb is ecstatic to be celebrating the holiday season with her two little ones. She has a lot to celebrate this Christmas. Not only have she and Joel Schiffman gotten engaged after 6 years of dating, but their family also expanded this year. This is their first Christmas with their 8-month-old daughter Hope Catherine. Hoda’s pulling out all the stops to celebrate with her little girls.

Maybe Hoda was a little inspired by hosting the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting because she got in that spirit with Hope and 2-year-old Haley Joy. Hope was the first to be propped on Hoda’s knee. Hoda and Joel counted down to the red and gold decorated, small fir tree being lit up. Things then went dark for a moment before it was Haley’s turn to light the tree up with mom and dad. The sweet little family tradition is made even cuter by crayon drawings hanging on the nearby wall, including one of Elmo.
