Move on with your life

I forgive people but that doesn’t mean I accept their behavior or trust them.  I forgive them for me, so I can let go and move on with my life.

Forgiving is overrated.  You need to stand up straighten your crown and move on.

Some things are simply unforgivable. I choose not to forgive certain actions/behaviors. Having said that, I am perfectly ok moving on. Holding someone responsible for extremely bad behavior will not hold me back in any way shape or form. I simply forget the person involved and they will have no further effect on my life.

I feel very strongly about this. I do not buy into the school of thought that you should forgive all bad behavior because it will help you. Certain actions will not be condoned nor rewarded with my forgiveness. When someone chooses to cross the line then the consequence is that there is no going back.

Forgiving doesn’t mean you have to leave yourself open and vulnerable to reoffence by the offender.
