Prince Harry And Meghan Missed The Queen’s Christmas Brunch And Their Location Is Still A Secret

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were noticeably absent from Queen Elizabeth’s annual pre-Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace. The gathering sees the entire larger royal family, as well as dear members of their staff, get together. It’s the last event Queen Elizabeth holds before heading to Sandringham for the holidays.

Harry and Meghan haven’t been spotted since Remembrance Day events in early November. The couple previously announced a six-week hiatus from royal duties through the end of the year. The decision came in the wake of their vulnerable documentary, where the couple spoke about the pressures of royal life and the cruelty of the media’s treatment of their family.

It was reported that Harry, Meghan, and Archie would head stateside to spend Thanksgiving with Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland. If they’ve been spotted in the United States, however, it’s been kept under wraps. While it was expected that they would skip Christmas festivities, it has fascinated many that they’ve been able to be wherever they are and keep under the radar.

While the Sussexes may be spending their first Christmas as a royal family of three off the grid, the Cambridges are front and center. This week saw some controversy for the couple, from raised eyebrows at their separate arrival at the Buckingham Palace luncheon to Kate’s alleged shrug-off of her husband’s affection in their Christmas special. Despite this, the couple insists that they are happy and their family is better than ever going into this holiday season.
