Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are no strangers to grand romantic gestures. On July 19, 2018, Nick shut down Tiffany’s to propose to Priyanka. That same week, the pair had a double date with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who is one of Priyanka’s good friends.

Nick and Priyanka’s wedding took place in India from November 30 to December 2, 2018. They had both a traditional Indian wedding and a Christian ceremony, led by Nick’s father.

To celebrate their first wedding anniversary, Priyanka surprised Nick with Gino the German shepherd puppy by having the adorable pup jump onto the bed and wake up his new dad from a deep sleep.

Priyanka shared their very first meeting on social media, and Nick proudly reposted it. “Pri came home with the absolute best surprise this morning,” he wrote on Instagram. “Please meet our new pup @ginothegerman I haven’t stopped smiling since I woke up this morning and finally realized what was going on.”

Gino already has an Instagram account with more than 300,000 followers.
