A group of three kids recently snuck into a senior living facility in Chicago. After entering the secured building, they frightened the elderly residents and fled with a fire extinguisher.
CBS 2 aired footage of the kids vandalizing the building — an act which left many of the seniors feeling terrorized.
It just so happened that a mother named Kiara Cunningham was watching this news report at home — and she quickly recognized that one of the boys who was captured on the security camera was her 10-year-old son, Ja’Shawn. She couldn’t believe it.
Kiara works a security guard, so she was especially horrified that her own son would do something like this.
So, Kiara decided to take the opportunity to teach Ja’Shawn a lesson he’d never forget — by taking him right back to the senior center and making him face the property manager to explain himself and apologize.
“You’re going to go in there and apologize, because you guys terrified those people,” Kiara told her son. “That could have been your grandmother; that could have been me in there, you know? That’s something you don’t do.”
See if Ja’Shawn owns up to his big mistake in the clip below — and how the property manager feels about meeting with him face-to-face.
