“I’m not lucky, I’m blessed! Everything I have is because of God’s grace and favor.”
I am aware of your meaningless thoughts. Saying “blessed” rather than “lucky” has nothing to do with salvation in the grand scheme of things, but I personally deliberately try to do it. This is the reason why.
Every time we speak, we are expressing something. What our hobbies, beliefs, and ideologies are. The mouth speaks from the heart. The tongue has great influence.
However, we frequently speak without considering the true meaning of what we are saying, instead speaking from what we are accustomed to hearing or saying. However, I’m going to push you to consider carefully what you are saying and what you are standing for.
Blessed is a term for someone who is warmly welcomed, agreeable, or valued. Very happy and successful in this earthly life; experiencing spiritual delight and divine favor.
The term “lucky” refers to events that occur in a person’s life by accident or occurs in an unplanned manner.
In light of the definitions, I believe that to be saying “blessed” is equivalent to expressing gratitude to God. I see everything that goes well in my life as a result of God’s favor. The little and large things in my life seem to be guided by God’s deliberate hand. On the other hand, “Lucky” implies that good or bad things have “randomly” come into your life and that things have happened for no other reason than that you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. I can’t help but disagree with this ideology.
God is demonstrating his love for you every moment of the day, so give thanks to him for all of your blessings. It only requires you to recognize and understand where your gratitude ought to come from. God knows the decisions we will make and guides us back to Him through blessings, tribulations, and other life events as we go through life.
For this reason, I think I’m blessed rather than lucky! God’s favor and grace are the source of everything I own. Thanks to God’s favor and grace, I am able to enjoy everything.
