A woman came home and happily told her husband,
Wife:
“Remember those headaches I’ve been having for years? They’re completely gone!”
Husband:
“No more headaches? What happened?”
Wife:
“Margie recommended a hypnotist. He told me to stand in front of a mirror, look at myself, and repeat, ‘I don’t have a headache’ over and over.”
“It worked! My headaches are gone.”
Husband:
“That’s wonderful!”
The wife smiled and added,
Wife:
“You know, things haven’t been quite as exciting between us lately. Why don’t you visit the hypnotist and see if he can help you, too?”
The husband agreed.
After his appointment, he came home, picked up his wife, and carried her toward the bedroom.
Husband:
“Don’t move. I’ll be right back.”
A few minutes later, he returned, and the two enjoyed a much more romantic evening than usual.
Wife:
“Wow! That was wonderful!”
Husband:
“Don’t move. I’ll be right back.”
He disappeared for a few minutes and returned again.
This time, things were even better than before.
The wife was amazed.
Husband:
“Don’t move. I’ll be right back.”
He went into the bathroom again.
Curious, the wife quietly followed him. She looked through the doorway and saw him standing in front of the mirror, repeating:
Husband:
“She’s not my wife. She’s not my wife. She’s not my wife!”
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday.
