Please Choose To Be Kind

“Please choose to be kind. Many are facing difficult times, filled with uncertainty and sadness. If you can add joy to someone’s life, do it, because you might be the only one who does.”

If you have to pick between being right and being kind, go with the kindness. A simple act of kindness, such as smiling at someone who is in a bad mood, can brighten someone’s day!  One of the most significant lessons I’ve learned is that we can all change the world! Too many of us believe we have little ability to make a difference. I’ve thought about it several times.

It usually takes time to make an impact, so our generosity might not take root in the flower beds for a while. Focus more on the act of giving than on the outcome of your efforts. You’ll be able to change things in ways you never would have thought possible if you can let go of the outcome.  There is no need to eradicate world hunger. All you have to do is be kind every day.

People deal with backbreaking responsibilities, difficult relationships, and stressful occupations daily. People fight deadly illnesses, face unknown futures, and fight for their lives on a daily basis. There is always someone in need of kindness, at any given time in our lives.

The universe is energized by your actions toward others. Your actions toward the universe provide you with energy.  Slow down. Take a deep breath, smile, and stay present. Seek out opportunities to make a difference, enjoy the moment, and be appreciative of every decision you make.

Life becomes complicated when our challenges outweigh our ability to love others, offer our compassion, and simply make time in our hectic schedules to live a giving life. Make a distinction! Give and you will receive! You get what you put into it!

No matter what situation you find yourself in, approach it with kindness and you will always treat others the way they deserve to be treated. Let go of the complications. Choose the easy option. Create a positive atmosphere. That’s how you create an impact!
