“Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs, the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you, no matter what!”
Family is defined by those you choose to be your family members.
This is especially true if your blood relatives show little interest in you, do not support you, or have been physically or emotionally abusive. I have so many people in my life who I consider family despite not being related to me by blood, and I really love each and every one of them as if they were blood relatives.
Your family does not make up your DNA. Love, support, and understanding are far more important than your genetics. As children, we are taught that family comes first, but it does not imply that a mother or father should come before a closest friend.

Even if the blood flowing through your veins keeps you alive, life is not always worth living.
Families are crucial to everyone’s existence, although occasionally our families turn out to be the people we least expect them to be.
A family is a vital component of any person’s life, yet occasionally our families turn out to be the people we least expect.
All I want is for you to know that you can always count on me and that you shouldn’t be frightened to speak about what you feel. Our past traumatic experiences do not define who we are. If we wake up, the universe gives us another chance to live the life we desire. You are not alone in the world, even if it appears to be so at times.
Family might not always mean blood family. Many blood families are quite negative and have no family affection for one another, yet certain close friends are extremely loyal to one another till death. Ultimately, family entails connection, love, and respect for one another. Many friends share this link, however some biological family members do not!
