A young couple got married and went away on their honeymoon.
When they returned, the bride immediately called her mother.
Mother:
“How was the honeymoon?”
Daughter:
“Oh, Mom, it was wonderful! So romantic…”
Suddenly, she started crying.
Daughter:
“But as soon as we got home, Sam started using the most horrible language I’ve ever heard! He kept saying awful four-letter words. Mom, you’ve got to come get me!”
Mother:
“Sarah, calm down. What could possibly be so terrible? What four-letter words did he say?”
Daughter:
“Please don’t make me say them. I’m so embarrassed!”
Mother:
“You have to tell me. What horrible words has he been using?”
Still sobbing, the bride finally replied,
Daughter:
“Words like… dust, wash, iron, and cook!”
