“There isn’t any problem, burden, or trial that God can’t change, control, or turn around in your favor. Always pray and give thanks to God and He will provide all your needs.”
Having full confidence in Him and understanding that He will never leave us will be sufficient to get us through the challenges we encounter, even though things may not be easy or painless during times of difficulty. God allows us to go through trials and tribulations because we are sinners who fall short of His glory.
God loves us, but because of our fallen nature, He permits such things to happen. He understands that by letting us experience failure, suffering, and difficulty, we will strengthen our faith, become closer to Him, and turn away from sin.
Even if the road is difficult and painful during these trying times, trusting in God and knowing that He will never abandon us will be sufficient to carry us through. While God does not bring about hardship, He may and does allow it to work for good.
Even though we could make an effort to perceive the benefits that can result from going through difficulty, pain, and struggle, we only see the struggle and agony. We can use our finite, flawed senses to try and comprehend and get to know God. It is like to viewing the world via a straw from a drink can. We see a very small and constrained area. Unlike God, humans can only see a reflection and are unable to perceive and know the whole.
We must stop viewing challenges and adversity in our lives as a burden, as proof that God does not love us. Perhaps we might start seeing them as confirmation that God truly loves us—so much so that He will not allow us to try to rely on our own strength, but will instead teach us that we must rely on Him to get through suffering and persevere till the end.
