Sometimes, You Have To Look Back At God’s Faithfulness

“Sometimes, you have to look back at God’s faithfulness in order to move forward. Remember how God brought you through before, and trust that He will do it again.”

Over several months, I noticed that my faith was growing and that my heart was starting to mend. The more I witnessed His faithfulness shining through, the less I was concerned about the difficult changes in circumstances.

God has omnipotent wisdom that allows every season of our lives, and those seasons may contain some difficult changes. We can fight change, or we can believe that God has a plan and purpose for it, and let our faith in His faithfulness serve as the foundation for joyful living.

God’s faithfulness implies that all He says and does is certain. He is always reliable. He speaks what he means and means what he says, therefore he follows through on all he promises to do. God’s faithfulness is not a small or secondary aspect of His personality. To say that God is faithful speaks to the very essence of who He is.

Living by faith is another essential component of moving forward with God. This entails believing in God’s plan and guidance, especially when faced with uncertainty and difficulty. It means believing that God is with you and will guide you through difficult situations, giving you strength and consolation along the way.

Generally speaking, moving forward in your journey of spirituality, strengthening your bond with God, and living a life increasingly in line with spiritual ideals and principles are all part of moving forward with God. Developing a closer, more meaningful relationship with God, maintaining the basic principles of one’s faith in day-to-day living, and ongoing spiritual development are all necessary for moving forward with God.
