It is not necessary to have a plan at all times. Sometimes all you have to do is breathe, trust, and let go to see what happens. I’ve always struggled with this, especially during stressful times. Regardless of the circumstances, I have a tremendous urge to reassure myself that everything will be fine.
The truth is that we cannot foretell the future, which is fine. What we can do is take a few deep breaths try to relax, and keep our thoughts open to the potential of any outcome while trusting that everything will work out. I am not perfect, therefore this is something I’m working on. Will everything be okay?
Not everyone has someone to support them while they undertake a significant life shift.
I also understand how frustrating it may be to be advised to improve your life when you have no idea how. But the point is not to do what I did, but to let go where you can, even if it means facing your own worst-case scenario.
When you start taking care of yourself, when you do what feels right for you and prioritize your physical and emotional well, you’ll notice that the route opens up. You will discover help in unexpected places.
It can even happen that the worst thing you could have imagined ends up being the best possible gift. I’ve come to believe that planning isn’t really necessary. It’s necessary at times to let go and wait to see what comes next.
I like to plan before the time. I enjoy having a sense of knowing what will occur and when. No matter how well we plan, nothing can guarantee what will happen in the future because it is unexpected. It’s something I’ve discovered—the best things don’t always go as planned.
You have to learn to breathe and let go at times. Have faith that whatever is destined for you will come to pass at the appropriate moment. Have an open mind and don’t attach yourself to anything.
